Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Operations Support Specialist to join our team at Stock Transportation. This is a full-time position that will be based in Toronto, Ontario.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate the flow of information within the Customer Service Centre.
  • Complete Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Payroll tasks.
  • Enter data from timesheets on a daily basis, perform daily audits, and enter corrections, then transmit payroll.
  • Enter information into various computer systems/applications.
  • Generate payroll and billing reports as needed.
  • Encourage compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate, organized, and up-to-date filing systems for all administrative records.
  • Schedule and invoice field trips and charters.
  • Perform general office duties, including writing letters, generating reports, drafting pay-memos, copying, filing, faxing, etc.
Requirements:
  • High school Diploma or equivalent required; completion of college-level Accounting courses preferred.
  • Fluent in French and English.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience with computerized payroll and billing systems; experience with Oracle preferred.
  • Excellent computer skills with strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
  • Demonstrated ten-key and data entry skills.
  • Ability to maintain accuracy and speed in data entry.
  • Strong working knowledge of basic office equipment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills along with demonstrated diplomacy skills.
  • Strong clerical skills.
  • Careful attention to detail.
