We are seeking a skilled Registered Practical Nurse to join our team at Nithview Community, a seniors' community providing various types of accommodation and services. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality care services, administering medications, and documenting resident care needs in accordance with quality management and legislative requirements.
Responsibilities- Provide optimum care services to residents, including skilled procedures and medication administration
- Document resident care needs and maintain accurate records
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care delivery
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance resident care and safety
- Diploma in Practical Nursing and current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Current AIS Certification and Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certificate
- Minimum one-year experience in geriatric, rehabilitation, or long-term care as an RPN
- Sound nursing knowledge in geriatric care and nursing administration
- Competitive hourly wage range: $25.80 to $30.12
