Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and analyze daily production and quality control performance to identify inefficiencies and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with the production team to ensure quality and efficiency measures are met, and quality issues are reported and escalated promptly.
  • Develop and implement strategies to minimize costs and optimize resource utilization.
  • Participate in production planning and review daily targets for production based on schedules.
  • Conduct pre-shift team meetings to review processes, controls, quality, and traceability.
  • Communicate expectations, operational objectives, and standards to the team.
  • Liaise with the management team to resolve production problems and ensure employee safety.
  • Actively participate in employee return-to-work and modified duties planning.
  • Identify and report on continuous improvements of safety practices.
Requirements
  • Grade 12 Diploma or GED required.
  • 3-5 years of relevant supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent organization, communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to create and adhere to production processes.
  • Knowledge of Dashwood Products and/or windows and doors an asset.
  • Good understanding of delivery systems and order processing systems.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications.
