About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Body Repair Technician to join our team at Innovative Collision Centre.

Key Responsibilities
  • Repair and maintain equipment, including moving tools and equipment, cleaning machines and work areas, and performing labouring and elemental activities.
  • Hammer out dents, buckles, and defects using blocks and hammers, and file, grind, and sand body surfaces to be repaired.
  • Replace front end components, body components, doors, and frame and underbody components, and apply primers and repaint surfaces.
  • Mask and tape auto body surfaces in preparation for painting, and remove damaged fenders, panels, and grills and bolt or weld replacement parts into place.
  • Operate soldering equipment or use plastic filler to fill holes, dents, and seams, and mix paint, blend, and match colors.
Work Environment

This is a physically demanding role that requires manual dexterity, a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, and handling heavy loads. You will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and be required to stand for extended periods.
