Job Title: Automotive Body Repair Technician

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Body Repair Technician to join our team at Innovative Collision Centre. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for repairing and refinishing vehicles to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Repair and maintain equipment, including hammers, blocks, and sanders.
  • Clean and prepare work areas, including machines and tools.
  • Perform labouring and elemental activities, such as moving materials and cleaning surfaces.
  • Hammer out dents, buckles, and defects using blocks and hammers.
  • File, grind, and sand body surfaces to be repaired.
  • Replace front end components, body components, doors, and frame and underbody components.
  • Apply primers and repaint surfaces.
  • Mask and tape auto body surfaces in preparation for painting.
  • Remove damaged fenders, panels, and grills and bolt or weld replacement parts into place.
  • Operate soldering equipment or use plastic filler to fill holes, dents, and seams.
  • Mix paint, blend, and match colors.
Requirements:
  • Experience in automotive body repair and refinishing.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labour and lift heavy loads.
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
