About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Security Advisor to join our team at Desjardins. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in helping our clients achieve their financial goals by providing expert advice and guidance on life and health insurance products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales and Advice

    You will be responsible for selling and providing advice on life, health, disability, and critical illness insurance products to our clients. This will involve analyzing their needs and developing personalized solutions to meet their financial objectives.

  • Customer Satisfaction and Service Quality

    You will be responsible for assessing customer satisfaction and service quality, and making improvements as needed. This will involve establishing and maintaining good relationships with referral sources and helping to target and analyze potential client files.

  • Business Development

    You will be responsible for acting on business opportunities and presenting information to partners to help our clients reach their financial goals. This will involve monitoring the industry to identify business development opportunities and staying up-to-date on new products and trends.

Requirements

  • Education

    You must have a college diploma in a related field, such as finance or business.

  • Experience

    You must have a minimum of two years of relevant experience in the insurance industry.

  • Certifications

    You must hold a Representative's certificate in Insurance of persons from the Autorité des marchés financiers.

  • Language

    Knowledge of French is required.
