Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Ironworker - Reinforcing Rebar to join our team at Golden Era Reinforcing Ltd. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for reinforcing concrete structures with steel bars or metal mesh.

Key Responsibilities
  • Erect and install scaffolding, falsework, and other working platforms to ensure safe access to construction sites.
  • Signal crane operators to position units according to blueprints and drawings.
  • Align, weld, or bolt units in place to ensure structural integrity.
  • Position and secure steel bars or metal mesh in concrete forms to reinforce concrete structures.
  • Unload and position steel units for hoisting and installation.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to understand construction plans.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work at heights, in noisy environments, and in fast-paced settings with tight deadlines.
  • Dependability, organization, and strong work ethic.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings.
Work Environment

Our team works in various locations, and you will be required to travel to different sites. You will be working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, and you must be able to adapt to changing circumstances.

What We Offer
  • Permanent full-time position.
  • 40 hours per week.
