Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced professional to work in our wood processing department, assisting other workers in operating woodworking machines and equipment.

Main Responsibilities
  • Feed conveyors, hoppers, saws, and drying machines to ensure efficient production.
  • Sort, pile, and transport wood products safely and accurately.
  • Remove scrap lumber and wood chips for reprocessing to minimize waste.
  • Clean machines and immediate work areas regularly to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • Experience with repetitive tasks, physically demanding work, and standing for extended periods is necessary.
  • The ability to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs) and wear steel-toed safety boots is also required.
  • English is the primary language used in this position.
  • This is a permanent full-time role, working approximately 30-35 hours per week.
