We are currently hiring a full time **JANITOR (MANUFACTURING). **This is a **Union position - IAMAW.**

General Duties include, but are not limited to:

- Cleaning of the shop floor using a push broom magnetic sweeper; ensure all walkways and emergency exits are clear of garbage and debris
- Cleaning of the shop washrooms and lunchroom, and other areas as designated
- Dumping all waste - aluminum, steel and wood in appropriate containers for garbage or recycling
- Collecting shop rags and towels and placing in a bin for pick-up
- Minor landscaping, including grass cutting
- Skills/Abilities:

- Previous experience in a similar production environment
- Forklift experience is required; preference given to current holder of forklift ticket but will provide training if required
- Physically able to complete tasks assigned; able to bend, twist and tolerate repetitive movement and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must have WHMIS certification

What we Offer:

- Full benefits package after 3 months of employment; employer paid premiums
- Working hours, Monday to Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m

Pay: $20.84-$25.00 per hour
