We are seeking a highly skilled Cost Control Coordinator to join our team at Golderado Contracting Corp. As a key member of our project team, you will be responsible for preparing cost reports, tracking daily progress, and supporting the project team with administrative duties.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly cost reports to ensure accurate financial tracking.
- Review timesheets and track daily progress to identify potential issues and opportunities for improvement.
- Investigate potential out-of-scope work, manage ongoing and potential change orders, and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Support the project team with procurement, material receiving, invoicing, progress, and quantity tracking.
- Process LEMs, review data from software utilized by the project and operations team, and perform data entry/collection as required.
- Assist in estimating, research historical data, and compile summary reports to inform business decisions.
- Diploma and/or Post-Secondary education in Administration, Accounting, and/or Project Management or equivalent.
- Project Administration, cost control, and/or Project Management experience required.
- Knowledge/experience in the construction industry, including terminology and processes.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in various software (B2W, Eclipse, Asset Panda).
- Strong Excel skills and ability to create and manage spreadsheets.
- Ability to communicate effectively with multiple supervisors and sub-trades.
- Ability to apply basic engineering principles to construction challenges.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong verbal communication skills and a reliable means of transportation.
- Proficient English language skills required.
