About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team at Beaver Transportation Inc. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our fleet of heavy trucks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions
  • Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine extent of repair required
  • Order parts and maintain inventory
  • Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts
  • Keep maintenance reports and documentation
  • Test repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that work meets manufacturers' specifications
  • Clean, lubricate and perform other maintenance work
  • Perform repair work on heavy trucks
  • Service attachments and working tools
  • Verify and repair emission control systems
  • Perform other routine maintenance
Work Environment

As a Diesel Mechanic at Beaver Transportation Inc., you will work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on safety and efficiency. You will be required to work in a dusty and noisy environment, and will need to be physically fit to perform the demands of the job.

Requirements
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Permanent employment
  • English language proficiency
  • 35 hours per week
