Job Overview:
This role involves conducting detailed quantity take-offs and preparing cost estimates for mechanical and electrical systems. The successful candidate will have experience in doing Electrical and Mechanical Estimates, with a thorough understanding of code requirements.
Main Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with contractors to ensure project alignment and cost accuracy using Bluebeam and PlanSwift software.
- Analyze construction drawings and specifications for mechanical and electrical disciplines.
- Support cost management and control throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide input on project estimates for commercial buildings and office buildings.
- Utilize advanced knowledge of MS Excel for data analysis and presentation.
Requirements:
- Must have a degree/diploma in mechanical or electrical engineering (or equivalent).
- 3-5 years of Canadian experience in estimating mechanical and electrical systems is mandatory.
- Previous experience with contractors is necessary.
- Fully versed with Bluebeam and PlanSwift software.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
Salary and Benefits:
The salary for this position is estimated to be around $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additionally, Pryco Global Inc. offers a competitive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and opportunities for professional growth.
