Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Supervisor

Border City Storage Ltd. is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Supervisor to oversee the smooth operation of our warehouse. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating the receipt, storage, and distribution of goods, ensuring timely and efficient delivery to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Logistics Planning: Develop and implement effective logistics plans to prioritize tasks, manage inventory, and optimize supply chain operations.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain accurate inventory records, ensuring that stock levels are up-to-date and that products are readily available for shipment.
  • Supply Chain Coordination: Coordinate with suppliers, carriers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
  • Warehouse Operations: Supervise the receipt, storage, and distribution of goods, ensuring that all activities are conducted in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and submit regular reports on inventory levels, shipping and receiving activities, and other key performance indicators.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
  • Language: English
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Recruit and support newcomers and refugees who were displaced by a conflict or a natural disaster.
  • Support for Youths: Offer on-the-job training tailored to youth.
  • Support for Indigenous People: Develop and maintain relationships with indigenous communities, indigenous-owned businesses, and organizations.
