Job Description:
You'll play a key role in delivering exceptional ongoing service to our growing client base. This includes liaising with insurance companies on renewals, market studies, and claims adjudication issues.
- New Business Issuance: Responsible for reviewing employee booklets, policy language, and employer/employee information for accuracy.
- Implementation: Assist in implementing group plans with new carriers.
- Marketing: Prepare marketing specifications and respond to field inquiries from insurance companies regarding market surveys.
- Claim Resolution: Assist in resolving claim adjudication problems.
- Administrative Tasks: Obtain answers to enrolment problems, billing discrepancies, and other plan administrative issues.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 3 years' related industry experience, including similar client service and business development exposure.
- Proven experience in consulting, third-party benefits administration, or similar.
- Successful completion of CEBS, GBA, Life License, or similar designations strongly preferred.
- Consistent track record of solving complex client challenges through analytical & creative problem-solving.
- Confidence in navigating potentially difficult conversations.
- High level of comfort managing client groups of various sizes and complexity levels.
- Willingness and ability to visit client sites within the GTA and Southwestern Ontario.
