Job Title: Warehouse Supervisor

MRC Global is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the safe and efficient execution of warehouse and delivery operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Warehouse Manager in the hiring, scheduling, training, and evaluation of warehouse staff.
  • Determine the most efficient way to handle incoming and outgoing jobs in the warehouse.
  • Coordinate internal activities of the warehouse and trucking personnel, as well as activities with customers and vendors.
  • Ensure that all necessary steps are taken to meet Code/Industry, customer inspection system requirements, specifications, and contractual requirements.
  • Identify and correct quality problems.
  • Establish a positive working relationship with manufacturers and internal and external customers.
  • Perform Warehouse Associate and Truck Driver duties as required.
  • Maintain confidential information pertaining to normal supervisory duties and pricing and contract information.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED and additional related training.
  • Detailed knowledge of warehouse operations.
  • Knowledge of MRC Global materials.
  • Ability to operate and become certified in forklifts, order pickers, cranes, and other typical warehouse material handling equipment.
  • Demonstrated competence in the use of computers and software applications.
  • Knowledge of basic warehouse functions and procedures.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet objectives by influencing and engaging others and perform in a supervisory role.
Additional Qualifications:
  • Ability to provide documentation verifying legal work status.
  • Ability to read and speak the English language proficiently.
  • Ability to understand and comply with MRC Global guidelines and expectations.
