Job Title: DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team and play a critical role in maintaining the reliability, scalability, and performance of our cloud infrastructure.

As a DevOps Engineer at Everflow, you will collaborate closely with our engineering and product teams to automate, monitor, and optimize our services.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Infrastructure Management: Design, deploy, and manage scalable, reliable, and secure cloud infrastructure using Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Kubernetes.
  2. Automation: Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines, ensuring smooth and efficient deployment processes.
  3. Monitoring & Incident Management: Implement monitoring and alerting systems to detect and respond to infrastructure issues proactively. Lead the incident response process, minimizing downtime and impact.
  4. Performance Optimization: Analyze system performance and implement improvements to ensure low latency and high availability of services.
  5. Security: Collaborate with the security team to implement best practices in infrastructure security, including managing IAM roles, firewall rules, and network policies.
  6. Collaboration: Work closely with the engineering team to integrate DevOps practices into the development lifecycle, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
  7. Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation for infrastructure, processes, and incident responses.
Requirements:
  1. Experience: 1+ years of experience as a Site Reliability Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or in a similar role.
  2. Cloud Expertise: Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform, including services like Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Cloud Armor, GKE, Cloud SQL, Memorystore, and IAM.
  3. Scripting & Automation: Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) and automation tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
  4. Monitoring & Logging: Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or similar, and logging solutions like Stackdriver or ELK.
  5. CI/CD Pipelines: Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Cloud Build) and best practices.
  6. Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to manage complex infrastructure challenges.
  7. Team Player: Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  1. Security Focus: Knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments, including experience with Cloud Armor and IDS/IPS solutions.
  2. Network Management: Understanding of network protocols and experience with VPCs, load balancers, and VPNs in a cloud environment.
  3. Database Management: Familiarity with cloud-based databases, including SQL and NoSQL solutions.
