Job Title: DevOps Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join our Firmwide developer tools and systems group. As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for shaping the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) within our organization by implementing tools, systems, and processes used by 12,000+ developers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implementing and maintaining SDLC tools and systems
  • Collaborating with a global team of experts to modernize our SDLC platform
  • Developing and deploying automation scripts and tools
  • Ensuring the smooth operation of our development and deployment processes

Requirements:

  • Hands-on development experience in Python
  • Experience with Java, C#, or Typescript is an asset
  • Strong technical skills and passion for SDLC tooling and processes
  • Familiarity with multiple SCM systems, code review systems, issue tracking tools, build tools, test frameworks, code quality tools, CI systems, and IDEs

Desired Skills:

  • Prior experience developing tools for build automation, version control, issue tracking, continuous integration, automated testing, or deployment automation
  • Deployment orchestration experience using Terraform, Ansible, or other related technologies
  • Experience integrating development and deployment tools with Azure or AWS
  • Experience using Containers and Kubernetes to realize large-scale software distribution
