The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Shipper/Receiver at Wajax. As a key member of our logistics team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient flow of industrial goods in and within our warehouse.

The Role

  • Receive and process incoming shipments, verifying contents against documents and accurately inputting information into our tracking system.
  • Prepare and pack outgoing shipments in accordance with customer and branch orders, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  • Coordinate with carriers to arrange for the transportation of goods, maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with organizational best practices.
  • Stock shelves and maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, utilizing forklifts and other equipment as needed.
  • Perform daily forklift log and other administrative tasks as required.
  • Support the warehouse team in maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Perform additional duties as required, including local pickup and delivery tasks.

The Candidate

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent, valid forklift license/certification, and valid driver's license.
  • Work Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a warehouse or logistics setting.
  • Knowledge: Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to learn and adapt to new systems and processes.
