This role plays a pivotal part in making our user experience seamless and intuitive. You will work on existing products like the Visier People SaaS Platform, as well as cutting-edge features and products we are introducing to market.

Your Key Responsibilities

  1. You will collaborate closely with fellow designers, product managers, and development colleagues to understand complex scenarios and use cases for Visier's interface and other applications: Analytic modeling, data management, app configuration, security, reporting, and more.
  2. Working iteratively, you'll translate concepts into sketches, wireframes, and prototypes to establish a strong user experience vision, then review and validate your designs directly with end-users and stakeholders through testing and feedback sessions.
  3. You will provide critical documentation and guidance to support development as they implement your design.
  4. You will create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups using Figma and related design tools.
  5. You'll be supported by a top-notch design and development team that has successfully launched initial products and will have opportunities to learn, contribute, and grow at a fast pace.
  6. You will also mentor and assist in developing more junior designers and co-ops.

Your Skills and Qualifications

  1. A strong background in interaction design, preferably with experience in enterprise software products.
  2. Experience in planning and conducting usability tests.
  3. The ability to independently research, understand, and define user personas, including subject matter nomenclature.
  4. A self-starter who can take ownership of complex UX problems from discovery to delivery.
  5. Experience with data tools, either analytics, data modeling, or ETL domain knowledge.
  6. Experience in wireframing, prototyping, and creating high-fidelity mockups.
  7. Conducting user research and running usability tests.
  8. Experience working with design systems.
  9. Experience with industry-standard design tools (Figma, Adobe CC, etc.).
  10. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  11. Familiarity with design and development processes (Lean, Agile, Design Sprints, Design Thinking).
  12. Humility and open-mindedness.
  13. While not required, experience in enterprise software design and/or Business Intelligence, Analytics, or Data Visualization domains would be advantageous.

This position offers a base pay range of $112,000 - $168,000 per year in Canada. Compensation will be determined by factors such as qualifications, experience, knowledge, and skills. Additional forms of compensation may apply; our Talent Acquisition team will share details if you move forward with the interview process.
