About the Role:

The Assistant Site Superintendent will play a key role in the success of our construction projects, working closely with the Site Superintendent to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Site Superintendent to develop and implement project plans, ensuring timely completion and profitability.
  • Advocate for and enforce health, safety, and environmental standards, promoting a culture of safety across the project team.
  • Update the construction schedule regularly, ensuring milestones and deadlines are met.
  • Coordinate tasks and activities with various project stakeholders, including clients, architects, consultants, site foremen, field personnel, vendors, and subcontractors.
  • Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Ensure that materials and workmanship meet quality standards and regulations, leading by example to promote a culture of quality.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience as an Assistant Site Superintendent in the construction industry, preferably with an established ICI General Contractor.
  • Proven track record of managing multiple full-cycle new construction and renovation projects for health care facilities, universities, or government buildings.
  • Educational background in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and inspire a diverse team.
  • Proficient in construction management software and the Microsoft Office Suite.
