Job Summary: As a Pipeline Right of Way and Vault Inspector with SGS Canada, you will perform pipeline right-of-way inspection and maintenance to ensure line integrity and right-of-way clearance, prioritizing safety and regulatory compliance.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Conduct regular pipeline right-of-way patrols and inspections to ensure line and right-of-way clearance.
  • Inspect pipeline vaults for damage, leaks, or unexpected conditions and perform minor maintenance tasks.
  • Collaborate with flight surveillance teams to identify and validate right-of-way infractions.
  • Interface with customers to deliver and receive work permits.
  • Report inspection findings and relevant information to customers.
  • Provide safe access to vaults and inspection points.
  • Maintain vegetation conditions to meet acceptable standards.

Requirements:


  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 0-1 years of relevant work experience required or equivalent experience through education.
  • Previous experience in the petroleum field, construction, or public service is an asset.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable working outdoors and willing to travel to other locations.
