Job Summary

The Money Room Auditor will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial transactions processed by the Cash Operations Department and Hospitality Retail Department at Woodbine Entertainment Group.

Key Responsibilities
  • Reconcile and audit daily cash transactions, including cash collection and replenishment, and retail sales transactions.
  • Prepare daily reports and supporting documents for general ledger upload and record maintenance.
  • Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to financial transactions.
  • Develop and document financial processes and procedures to ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with the Cash Operations Department, Hospitality Department, and other stakeholders to address any issues or concerns related to financial transactions.
Requirements
  • University or college degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in cash management, payment processing, or auditing.
  • Proficient in accounting software applications and Microsoft Office, particularly advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Working Conditions

This is a temporary 15-month contract position. The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
