Job Title: Drywall Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Drywall Specialist to join our team at Karigars Interiors Ltd.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with experience in drywall installation and plastering. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring high-quality finishes on walls and ceilings.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work at heights safely.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise other workers to ensure efficient project completion
  • Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints to achieve a smooth finish
  • Install exterior and interior steel studs, as well as acoustic tile and hangers for suspended ceilings
  • Cut openings in lath for heating and ventilation piping, ducts, and electrical outlets
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A minimum of 7 months' experience in drywall installation and plastering
  • No formal education or certification required, but relevant skills and training preferred
  • Ability to work at heights safely and efficiently
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
