The Opportunity

Yukon Energy is seeking a dedicated and skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team in the Yukon territory. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and directing mechanical utility projects from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop mechanical engineering designs, drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.
  • Prepare written reports for mechanical utility maintenance and construction programs.
  • Manage all phases of the project, including concept, design, construction, and closeout.

Requirements

  • Requires a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering with P.Eng. Designation in Canada and must be eligible for registration as a Professional Engineer in the Yukon.
  • Experience and knowledge of power utility maintenance and/or operations.
  • Ability to work independently on engineering projects.
  • Working knowledge of Project Management processes and principles.
