Job Title: Tile Setter

At ASM QUARTZ, we are seeking a skilled Tile Setter to join our team. As a Tile Setter, you will be responsible for preparing, measuring, and marking surfaces to be covered with tile. You will also mix, apply, and spread mortar, cement, mastic, glue, or other adhesives using a hand trowel. Additionally, you will prepare rough plans and sketches, set tiles in place, and apply pressure to affix them to the base. Your attention to detail and ability to work accurately will be essential in ensuring a high-quality finish.

Responsibilities:

* Prepare surfaces to be covered with tile
* Mix and apply adhesives
* Set tiles in place and apply pressure
* Prepare rough plans and sketches
* Align and straighten tiles
* Cut and fit tiles around obstacles and openings
* Pack grout into joints between tiles and remove excess grout
* Remove and replace cracked or damaged tiles

Requirements:

* 1 to less than 7 months of experience
* Ability to work accurately and efficiently
* Strong attention to detail
* Ability to lift and move heavy materials
