Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Optician to join our team. As a leader in optical sales, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance to our customers, ensuring that they find the perfect pair of glasses to meet their needs.

Main Responsibilities

  • Act as a leader on the sales floor, supporting the team and creating a exceptional customer experience
  • Mobilize and inspire the team to achieve sales objectives
  • Provide outstanding customer service and set an example on the sales floor
  • Support the team in optical knowledge and be an active coach on the sales floor
  • Exceed sales targets by providing information on the brand, mission, and products to our customers
  • Train new employees on all aspects of the company, particularly optical
  • Assist the store manager in providing ongoing training to the team
  • Represent the Visique brand: promote the company's values and image at all times

Optical Responsibilities

  • Ensure precision in taking optical measurements, adjusting, and fitting glasses
  • Verify that the final product meets Visique standards and customer requirements
  • Have excellent knowledge of products
  • Collect feedback on products for the merchandising team
  • Ensure compliance with the Provincial Opticians Council directives
  • Foster relationships with customers to develop business

Requirements

  • Registered with the Order of Opticians of the respective province where they practice
  • Experience in sales (an asset)
  • Passionate about fashion, eyewear, and retail
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Attentive to details and able to manage time effectively
  • Able to establish priorities in a fast-paced and constantly evolving work environment
  • Able to use the optical tools provided by the company, such as the automatic lensometer
  • Able to train the sales team on optical
