Trotter & Morton Facility Services, part of the Trotter & Morton Group of Companies, provides 24/7 preventive and predictive mechanical system maintenance and repair to condominiums, commercial, and institutional buildings.

We are seeking a skilled Plumbing Technician to contribute to our team of experienced technicians by bringing their willingness to learn and high-quality workmanship to every job.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review work orders, identify problems, determine required services, and pick up replacement parts.
  • Perform plumbing repairs on a large and varied housing inventory, including apartments, townhouses, commercial, industrial, and semi-detached units.
  • Make recommendations on more extensive plumbing issues.
  • Identify other unit deficiencies and report to the Service Manager.
  • Provide professional-level customer service to tenants.
  • May prepare work estimates for clients.
  • Accountable for delivering high customer service excellence levels.
  • Responsible for sustaining high customer satisfaction levels.
  • Other duties as required.

Required Skills

  • Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
  • Ability to take orders and instructions.
  • Ability to prioritize workloads.
  • Utilizes planning & time management skills to adhere to strict deadlines.
  • Strong work ethic and positive team attitude.

Required Experience

  • Journeyman Plumbing Ticket and a minimum B Gas.
  • Boiler experience.
  • Trade Certification/ Red Seal.
  • Service Experience.
  • Valid class 5 license and be able to provide a clean 5-year driving abstract.
