About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Plumbing Maintenance Technician to join our team at ARG Plumbing.

As a key member of our maintenance crew, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our plumbing systems and facilities.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance work, cleaning and repairing plumbing fixtures and systems, and assisting tradespersons and other workers as directed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance Work: Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure plumbing systems are functioning properly, including inspecting equipment, replacing worn parts, and making minor adjustments and repairs.
  • Cleanliness and Organization: Clean and pile salvaged materials, and maintain a safe and organized work environment.
  • Collaboration: Work with tradespersons, apprentices, and other workers to complete tasks efficiently and effectively.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, but a willingness to learn and train on the job is essential.
  • Experience: We offer comprehensive training for the right candidate, so previous experience is not necessary, but a strong work ethic and attention to detail are a must.
  • Physical Demands: The successful candidate will need to be physically fit and able to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) regularly.
Working Conditions

You will work in various locations, including construction sites, and may be required to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of $45,000 per year, based on your skills and experience. You will also receive benefits such as 32 hours of paid work per week, permanent employment status, and English language support.
