At Regina Exhibition Association Limited, we are seeking a highly skilled Facility Engineer Technician to join our team. This is a full-time position with a salary of approximately $55,000 per year, Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 4:30pm.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting semi-skilled manual maintenance and inspection work on heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems in various buildings operated by REAL. They will work independently and exercise discretion at times, as in the case of deciding whether to shut down a boiler during an emergency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintains equipment and facilities by completing tasks including but not limited to repairs, installations, remodeling, inspections, keeping proper records, and reporting concerns.
  • Evaluate health and safety risks and ensure compliance with regulations and legislated standards.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have demonstrated experience in building maintenance and repair work. You should be able to work well in a fast-paced environment and adapt to change to provide quality work. Additionally, you must possess a 5th class power engineering certificate and refrigeration engineers' certificate.
