About the Role

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing construction projects from start to finish, with a focus on ensuring timely completion, budget adherence, and high-quality results.

In this role, you will be responsible for estimating costs and materials, overseeing apprenticeship training, preparing production reports, coordinating activities with other project supervisors or managers, ensuring health and safety regulations are followed, establishing methods to meet work schedules, recommending personnel actions, requisitioning materials and supplies, supervising workers and projects, and training or arranging for training.

As a Construction Project Manager, you will lead a team of 3-4 people, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure their success.

Responsibilities
  • Estimate costs and materials for construction projects
  • Oversee apprenticeship training to develop skilled tradespeople
  • Prepare production reports to monitor project progress
  • Coordinate activities with other project supervisors or managers to ensure seamless project execution
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed to maintain a safe working environment
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and deadlines
  • Recommend personnel actions to improve team performance
  • Requisition materials and supplies as needed
  • Supervise workers and projects to ensure quality and efficiency
  • Train or arrange for training to develop skills and knowledge
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in construction project management
  • A permanent position with a regular schedule of 35 to 40 hours per week
  • Fluency in English as the primary language of communication

We offer a competitive salary, estimated to be around $60,000 - $80,000 per year, based on industry standards and location. This figure may vary depending on your level of experience and qualifications.
