Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Floor Supervisor to join our Quick Service team at MLSE. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service and a seamless event experience for our fans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Coaching: Lead by example and provide ongoing coaching, training, and motivation to the Quick Service team to ensure they are equipped to deliver championship service.
  • Alcohol Service and Compliance: Ensure responsible alcohol service using Smart Serve principles and adhere to AGCO and MLSE policies and regulations.
  • Operational Support: Provide support to QS Supervisors to ensure prompt, efficient, and friendly service of all food and beverage.
  • Issue Resolution: Work quickly and independently to resolve operational issues and ensure proper follow-up with the Management Team.
  • Administrative Tasks: Participate in administrative work, including opening/closing duties, food safety checklists, tracking sales and service statistics, performance reviews, and maintenance logs.
  • Vending and Food Production: Oversee the production of vending product and food production prior to events on rotation with other floor supervisors.
  • Staff Accountability: Hold staff accountable by assisting in the corrective action process.
  • Service Standards: Supervise and manage speed of service and product quality, making necessary adjustments to ensure we meet our service expectations.
  • Training and Development: Assist in the training and development of staff and supervisors.
  • Health and Safety: Adhere to all MLSE service standards and policies, including Health & Safety, and work in compliance with the provisions of the Occupational Health & Safety Act.
Requirements
  • Availability: Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, with varying hours based on the event schedule.
  • Event Days: Must be available for a minimum of 8 event days per month.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to effectively connect with fans and all levels of management and staff.
  • Certifications: Smart Serve certification is required; Food Safe Handlers certification is an asset.
  • Physical Demands: Position involves walking and standing for long periods of time.
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience in a unionized work environment is helpful.
