Supply Chain Strategist

**Job Summary**
We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Strategist to join our team at Polytainers.
This is a unique opportunity to develop and enhance forecast accuracy metrics, consensus planning processes, and Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) cadence for the organization.
The successful candidate will play a key role in improving current processes, driving innovation, and designing and executing the demand planning function within the future state SAP ERP transformation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement volume forecasting strategies through execution of the demand planning components of the S&OP process and analysis of data.
- Facilitate cross-functional agreement of volume forecasts and consolidate forecast components across the full 12-month horizon.
- Highlight risks and opportunities in sales volume based on statistical analysis, activity evaluations, and other market intelligence.
- Provide analysis and input into capacity planning and recommend CAPEX required to ensure service, growth, and cost objectives are met in annual budgeting.
- Monitor and manage forecast accuracy KPIs and drive improvement through root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Participate in Demand & Supply Reconciliation Meetings as part of the S&OP process.
- C coordinate management of sku transitions, slow-moving, and obsolete goods and highlight risks associated with customer/item demand.
Requirements:
- BS/BA degree in business, supply chain, engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in planning, forecasting, scheduling, and/or S&OP in a fast-paced, high-volume, Lean Manufacturing environment.
- Experience in injection molded plastics and/or food packaging industry make-to-order business would be an asset.
- Strong PC skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and MRP/ERP systems.
- Proven track record working with people and problem resolution and strong interpersonal, collaboration skills.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with strong influencing and negotiation capability.
Salary:$85,000 - $110,000 per year
