We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Meat Department Manager to join our team at Longo's. As a key member of our store management team, you will be responsible for upholding company policies and procedures, including health & safety, food safety, and loss prevention, and ensuring that your team maintains set standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor local market conditions and competitor activity to inform business decisions
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of raw materials, product processes, and quality control costs to optimize store operations
  • Utilize strong computer skills to quickly learn and adapt to new systems and technologies
  • Ensure compliance with Employment Standards, WHMIS, Food Safety, and Loss Prevention practices
  • Work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, and weekends, and be available for travel to support off-site events
