We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team at Corvermex Designs Inc. as a Decorative Finishes Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality painting and wallcovering services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Surface Preparation: Prepare, clean, and sand surfaces to be painted, ensuring a smooth and even finish.
- Repair and Maintenance: Repair cracks and holes in walls and ceilings, and perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure a safe and healthy working environment.
- Paint Mixing and Application: Mix paint to the desired color and texture, and apply it to interior and exterior surfaces using a variety of techniques.
- Wallcovering and Fabric Application: Measure, cut, and apply wallpaper and other fabric to walls, ensuring a precise and professional finish.
- Scaffolding and Rigging: Erect scaffolding and swing stages, and attach rigging as needed to access high areas.
- Estimation and Planning: Estimate costs and materials required for each project, and plan and schedule work to ensure timely completion.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
- Language: Fluency in English.
- Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
