Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Diagnostic Imaging Clerk to join our team at Interior Health Authority. As a key member of our Diagnostic Imaging department, you will provide exceptional patient care and administrative support to our staff and patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide patient registration and scheduling services, ensuring accurate and timely information is recorded and communicated to relevant parties.
  • Coordinate and arrange for pediatric and adult sedation, catheterization exams, and ambulance bookings, ensuring seamless patient care.
  • Perform reception duties, including answering telephones, receiving and relaying messages, and directing visitors.
  • Complete various standard forms for registration and billing purposes, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Provide typing and administrative support, including preparing documents, minutes, and statistical tables.
Requirements
  • A current administered 5-minute typing certificate of 45wpm completed in the last 48 months from an approved institution.
  • Proof of completion of a Medical Terminology Course.
  • Two years of recent related experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • A Cover Letter stating your availability to start in a new position and on-call, casual work.
