Diagnostic Imaging Clerk

We are seeking a Relief Part-Time Diagnostic Imaging Clerk to join our team at Kelowna General Hospital in Kelowna, B.C.
This position works a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, and rotating shifts, and provides a range of clerical duties related to the work of the Diagnostic Imaging department.
The successful candidate will be responsible for patient registration, scheduling and booking appointments, communicating with staff, patients, and physicians' offices, and ensuring that pertinent previous images and documentation are available for patient exams.
Additional duties include organizing and arranging for pediatric and adult sedation, catheterization exams, and ambulance bookings, as well as reception duties, such as answering telephones, receiving and relaying messages, and distributing mail.
The ideal candidate will have a current administered 5-minute typing certificate of 45wpm, proof of completion of a Medical Terminology Course, and two years of recent related experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
