About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Consultant to join our team at the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce. As a key member of our Technology team, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the highest quality of our systems and applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the investigation and translation of business requirements into test cases
  • Design and manage end-to-end testing activities for various projects across the business
  • Provide expert advice to your team, including ongoing feedback, support, and mentorship
  • Identify obstacles or risks that may impact a project's timeline or success and provide regular status updates to the business
Requirements
  • 6+ years of experience in application/software design, engineering, testing, and development
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL, Azure, and basics of UNIX shell scripting & Python, Scala, Java, Azure DevOps, etc.
  • Experience with cloud-related technologies such as Azure Cloud Services, Data Factory, Databricks, Azure Blob, etc.
  • Strong knowledge of data-centric applications, Data Warehousing, Data Marts, and traditional Extract, Transform, & Load (ETL) systems and tools
  • Experience with git and modern branching/merging strategies and development methodologies, including DevOps, CI/CD, automated unit testing, static code analysis, Sonar Cube
