Your Contribution

We are growing and want to talk to you. We have positions available from recent graduates to the senior level, in all our Atlantic Canada office locations. As part of our Civil Team, you will work alongside our experienced group of professionals, and have the opportunity to expand your career while being part of a community that values taking care of its employees and its clients.

Responsibilities

  • Apply and promote Englobe's health and safety rules;
  • Field work, including investigations, topographic survey and construction inspection;
  • Prepare and verify compliance with contract drawings and specifications;
  • Develop and review plans and specifications;
  • Investigate and gather information and industry standards, all while having a voice to propose new methods and strategies;
  • Complete quantity and cost estimating;
  • Create specifications, guidelines and report on study findings;
  • Design, draft, and model a variety of infrastructure scenarios;
  • Attend meetings and liaison with stakeholders;
  • Develop proposals and reports;
  • Project and client management.

Requirements

  • Must have and maintain a valid class 5 drivers license and reliable transportation;
  • A Diploma in Civil Technology or a Degree in Engineering. Previous construction or industry experience will also be considered;
  • Use of Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Experience with AutoCAD;
  • Understanding of construction principles, standard practices and regulations;
  • Demonstrate sensitivity and consideration for occupational health and safety;
  • Assess and prioritize multiple tasks, projects, and demands;
  • Document written forms and express decisions effectively;
  • Ability to read and interpret standard procedures, applicable rules and regulations;
