About the Role:

NSCAD University is seeking a Provost to champion the University's plans for growth and transformation. The Provost will work closely with NSCAD's President to support excellence in teaching, artistic creation, research, student experience, and service to the broader community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide significant academic leadership and create a vision and academic plan within a shared governance structure.
  • Foster a collegial atmosphere that promotes transparency, integrity, and the highest standard of ethical behaviour.
  • Lead the development of the University's academic strategy and ensure its implementation.
  • Work closely with faculty, staff, and students to promote a culture of inclusivity, diversity, and equity.
  • Represent NSCAD University at various levels and engage with stakeholders to promote the University's interests.
