NSCAD University Provost Opportunity

NSCAD University, a leader in visual arts education, seeks a Provost to champion its plans for growth and transformation. The successful candidate will provide significant academic leadership, fostering a collegial atmosphere that promotes transparency, integrity, and the highest standard of ethical behavior.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide academic leadership and create a vision and academic plan within a shared governance structure.
  • Support excellence in teaching, artistic creation, research, student experience, and service to the broader community.
  • Foster a culture of equity, diversity, inclusion, and accessibility, and advance indigenization and reconciliation strategies.
  • Lead large building projects and have financial acumen.
  • Build positive relationships with students, faculty, staff, and the Board of Governors.
