About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented EIT Structural Engineer to join our team in Vancouver. As an EIT Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for conducting structural inspections, designing concrete, steel, and CFRP structures, and preparing engineering proposals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct structural inspections for industrial projects
  • Design structures for concrete, steel, and CFRP
  • Estimate and prepare engineering proposals
  • Ensure projects are on task, on budget, and on schedule
  • Client-facing, able to represent the company and community in presentations and meetings
  • Able to work out of office for full-day inspections
  • Able to travel throughout British Columbia to potential job sites

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of relevant experience
  • Self-motivation and strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and demonstrate a flexible approach to work assignments
  • Proven passion for the profession and employ results-driven practices
  • Knowledge of Canadian codes and standards
  • Degree in structural or civil engineering
