Job Title: Structural EIT

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Structural EIT to join our team at CIMA+. As a key member of our Energy and Resources Civil-Structural group, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of industrial structures, underground structures, and hydraulic structures.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting structural inspections, designing concrete, steel, and CFRP structures, estimating engineering proposals, and ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct structural inspections for industrial projects
  • Design and develop structural solutions for concrete, steel, and CFRP structures
  • Estimate and prepare engineering proposals for clients
  • Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
  • Represent the company and the community in presentations and meetings
  • Work out of office for full-day inspections and travel throughout British Columbia to potential job sites
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of relevant experience in structural engineering
  • Self-motivation and strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and demonstrate a flexible approach to work assignments
  • Proven passion for the profession and employ results-driven practices
  • Knowledge of Canadian codes and standards
  • Degree in structural or civil engineering
