About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Cabinetmaker to join our team at K7 Millwork Group Inc. As a Cabinetmaker, you will be responsible for operating woodworking machines, cutting, shaping, and forming parts and components.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate power saws, jointers, mortisers, and shapers to cut, shape, and form parts and components.
  • Prepare specifications of custom-made cabinets that maximize storage.
  • Shape surfaces or edges of wood workpieces using hand tools.
  • Study plans, specifications, or drawings of articles to be made.
  • Trim joints and fit parts and subassemblies together to form a complete unit.
  • Sand wooden surfaces and apply veneer, stain, or polish to finished products.
  • Estimate costs and materials.
  • Repair or restyle wooden furniture, fixtures, and related products.

Requirements:

  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience.
  • Permanent employment.
  • English as the primary language of work.
  • 40 hours per week.
