Job Title: General Manager

Rising Star Daycare & OSC Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Manager to lead our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the overall strategy and direction of our operations.

Job Summary:

The General Manager will be responsible for allocating resources, coordinating work, and establishing objectives for the organization. This role requires strong leadership and management skills, as well as the ability to represent the organization in negotiations and other official functions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Allocate material, human, and financial resources to implement organizational policies and programs
  • Authorize and organize the establishment of major departments and associated senior staff positions
  • Co-ordinate the work of regions, divisions, or departments
  • Establish objectives for the organization and formulate or approve policies and programs
  • Represent the organization, or delegate representatives to act on behalf of the organization, in negotiations or other official functions
  • Select middle managers, directors, or other executive staff; delegate the necessary authority to them and create optimum working conditions
  • Hire and dismiss staff
  • Establish financial and administrative controls; formulate and approve promotional campaigns; and approve overall human resources planning
Work Environment:

The General Manager will work in a fast-paced environment with a team of 5-10 people. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, be able to work independently, and have a strong ability to make sound judgments.
