Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Executive Pastry Chef to join our team at Club Med. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for creating innovative and delicious pastries and breads that exceed our guests' expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement new pastry and bread recipes to enhance our menu offerings
- Lead a team of bakers to produce high-quality pastries and breads for our buffets and restaurants
- Ensure that all food safety and hygiene standards are met at all times
- Collaborate with our chefs to create themed desserts and special occasion cakes
- Monitor inventory and manage supplies to minimize waste and optimize costs
Requirements
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a senior baking role
- Proven track record of creating innovative and delicious pastries and breads
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Fluency in French and English, with knowledge of another foreign language a plus
