We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Bulkley Valley District Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to patients admitted to the acute care unit, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Participate in the orientation of new personnel and provide guidance and support to colleagues as needed.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures that promote high-quality patient care and safety.
- Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN registrant.
- Minimum one (1) year medical/surgical experience and/or equivalent combination of experience and training is preferred.
- Current CPR (Basic Life Support) certification.
- Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification or willingness to complete within 1 year is preferred.
- Current PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification is preferred.
