We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with a passion for delivering exceptional patient care to join our team at Bulkley Valley District Hospital. As a key member of our nursing team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients in our Labour and Delivery unit.
Responsibilities- Provide individualized care to patients in Labour and Delivery, prioritizing their physical, social, and psychological needs.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Participate in education and training programs to enhance your skills and knowledge in Labour and Delivery nursing.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to Labour and Delivery nursing.
- Provide guidance and support to new staff members in the Labour and Delivery unit.
- Current registration with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN registrant.
- Current Level C CPR certification.
- One year of recent experience in Labour and Delivery nursing, with a significant component of labour and delivery care.
- Advanced Obstetrical Certificate preferred.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Certificate preferred.
