Job Title: Heavy Equipment Technician
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Technician to join our team at LANSDOWNE EXCAVATION LIMITED. The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting and inspecting heavy equipment to detect faults and malfunctions, as well as performing repairs and maintenance tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and inspect heavy equipment to detect faults and malfunctions
- Perform repairs and maintenance tasks
- Order parts and maintain inventory
- Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts
- Keep maintenance reports and documentation
- Test repaired equipment for proper performance
Work Environment: The successful candidate will work in a variety of locations, both indoors and outdoors, and will be exposed to cold, hot, dusty, and noisy conditions.
Requirements:
- 3 years to less than 5 years of experience
- No degree, certificate or diploma required
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
- Attention to detail and manual dexterity required
