About the Role

Hawk Exteriors Inc. is seeking a skilled Carpentry Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of workmanship in all aspects of carpentry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Measure, Cut, and Assemble Materials: Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials to ensure precise fit and finish.
  • Install and Maintain Structures: Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware to ensure seamless integration with existing structures.
  • Renovate and Repair: Maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in various settings, including mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants, and other establishments.
  • Ensure Safety and Security: Conduct criminal record checks and maintain a safe working environment to protect employees and clients.
  • Work in a Variety of Settings: Work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking environments, with a focus on physically demanding tasks.
  • Use Personal Protective Equipment: Wear steel-toed safety boots and other necessary PPE to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Meet Experience Requirements: Possess 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in carpentry, with a focus on permanent positions.
  • Language and Work Schedule: Work in English, with a 35-hour workweek.
