Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Drywall and Acoustical Installation Assistant to join our team at P&K Construction Services Ltd. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for assisting in the installation of drywall and acoustical materials on residential construction sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
  • Clean and pile salvaged materials in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Perform routine maintenance work, including cleaning up chemical spills and removing rubble and debris.
  • Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction, such as nail guns.
  • Assist in the installation of drywall and acoustical materials, following safety protocols and guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Physically demanding work environment, with regular exposure to heights, confined spaces, and dusty conditions.
  • Ability to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs) and 13.5 kg (30 lbs) with regular frequency.
  • Manual dexterity and ability to perform repetitive tasks.
  • Willingness to work overtime as required.
  • Steel-toed safety boots and cellular phone required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in construction or a related field.
  • Client focus and team player attitude.

Work Environment:

  • On-the-road job with regular travel required.
  • 40 hours per week, with overtime as required.
  • English language proficiency.
